I spent all of last weekend at the beach catching a tan having my flesh brutally molested by the sun’s harmful rays, but this long weekend I’ll be keeping well out of harm’s way. I plan on finishing off Portal 2 and maybe trying out some of the co-op, and after watching a video feature of Mount and Blade (investigation was promopted by the fact that the game is currently $6 on Steam), I’m just itching to give it a try.
James Etherington-Smith
James is on holiday at the coast, and as such I assume he will be harvesting free radicals at the beach. Either that or playing Portal 2, which according to his recent Steam activity, he is enjoying rather immensely.
Tarryn van der Byl
I’m hanging it old skool this weekend. I’ll be staying in bed, eating bacon sandwiches, and (re)reading China Miéville’s The Scar.
Dan Parmenter
Dan has a full time job in advertising and is known to occasionally sleep at the office so that he can finish writing adverts like this one. In an earlier email I asked him to submit his blurb for our “what we’re playing this weekend” feature if he is not away on holiday, to which is replied “What the **** is a holiday?” That was the last I heard from him.
Chris Kemp
This weekend my parents are coming to visit from afar, so the gaming is going to have to take a backseat as I give the folks the grand tour of Seoul. However, I am hoping to con my Dad into attempting to play “one of those walking gun games”.
I’ll be away from my beloved gaming devices most of the weekend, however on Sunday night when everyone is soundly asleep, I may be stifling my disturbing giggles while air-stomping Tarryn van der Byl in Crysis 2 (consider the gauntlet thrown down!).
