Modern Warfare 3 price comparison

8 November 2011

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 hit local store shelves today, following a series of midnight launches around the country.

While a significant portion of the core gaming community will still be transfixed on the recently released Battlefield 3, there is no denying that Modern Warfare 3 is one of the year’s most anticipated titles, and that Activision will have thrown everything it has at its star franchise in order to fend off the stiffest competition we have seen in the shooter space in recent years.

Like previous games in the series, Modern Warfare 3’s single player campaign will play of the the perspectives of different characters. The multiplayer component of the game will be its primary selling point, and Infinity Ward has confirmed that the PC version will ship with LAN support as well as support for dedicated servers.

Reviews have yet to start streaming in, so the verdict is still out on whether Modern Warfare 3 will deliver the goods, but for those itching to pull the trigger on Infinity Ward’s latest, we have rounded up local pricing.
