What we’re playing this weekend (13-15 January 2012)

14 January 2012

Nic Simmonds

This weekend I’ll be playing lots of Battlefield 3, as well as some Skyrim. I still think Skyrim is rubbish, but it is steadily improving and a few carefully selected mods have helped it grow on me. I’m also itching to get my hands on Star Wars: The Old Republic, so we’ll see how that goes.

"Rubbish."

Quinton Bronkhorst

This weekend I’m going to climb into all the games that I started over the brief holiday period, but never managed to actually finish.

Considering that this includes pretty much every big game that came out during that period, let’s just say I’m going to be doing this every weekend for a long, long time. At least until the next load of games arrives. I think Batman deserves my immediate attention, though.

Another year, and another slew of non-existent releases to further aggravate the holiday hangover. Heck, I even saw a digital tumbleweed rolling across the main screen of the PlayStation Store.

So, this weekend I’ll be digging out my ancient Nokia 3310, dusting it off, and seeing if I can beat my high score on Snake. Yee-hah.

Chris Kemp

This weekend I’ll be playing… nothing! Don’t cry for me just yet though, I’ll be on a plane to Shanghai and Malaysia for my vacation (yeah, I work during Christmas and go on holiday now, go figure).

You won’t be seeing me around these ‘ere parts for three weeks, hopefully my lack of weekend updates don’t tear the fabric of reality and make the world implode. Although frankly, if it doesn’t, I just might take it personally. Take care MyGamers!

Sooner or later, I’m going to have to get back to Rise of Nightmares, and get it over with. It might as well be sooner.

…Somebody hold me. ;_;

He only wants a hug, Tarryn

James Etherington-Smith

I’m attending a weekend-long bachelor party, so I’ll be playing an intense game of “look but don’t touch”, followed by a round of “I don’t remember eating that”, finished off with “who’s bright idea was it to get drunk and go white water rafting!?”

"What's the worst that could happen?"
