News you may have missed this week (26-30 March)

30 March 2012

Whew! What a week it’s been – not only was there a lot happening in the world of gaming, but even here at MyGaming, things have stepped up a notch. Aside from a few tweaks here and there that you may have missed around the site, we’ve also welcomed Jeremy into the fold! If you haven’t said hi to him yet, head on over to the forum to entice him with anthromorphised livestock in drag.

As for the rest of the week’s big happenings, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered – here’s the biggest gaming news you may have missed this week.

GOG.com now known as GOG.com

Good old Games, which we’ve been calling GOG.com for ages, has now decided to relaunch and rebrand as…GOG.com – with a Newer! Fresher! image, comes some new additions to their catalogue.

BioWare + Cupcakes = headline news!

Assassin’s Creed III peeks into next-gen

Speaking of next-gen…

Yes, even more speculation about next-gen console gaming – and this week, it’s a biggie. Or maybe not. Such is the way of industry speculation. Pegged as the PlayStation ‘Orbis’, Sony’s next-gen console may be less friendly than many had hoped.

Microsoft has been busy, too

Not to be outdone, Microsoft speculation has also hit, with a ‘slimmer, ‘in between’ Xbox rumoured to be in the works. On more solid ground, though, the Windows Kinect is confirmed to be hitting SA soon, and Sega classics are coming to the Arcade.
