rAge 2012, South Africa’s largest gaming expo and LAN event, wrapped up at the end of Sunday, and as the hordes shambled their way out of the Coca-Cola Dome, MyGaming was there to catch up with a few of the general attendees to see what their thoughts on the show were.
After finding out what gamers thought of the NAG rAge LAN, what did everyone else think of the show itself?
What are your thoughts on rAge so far?
“Not bad.” – Tim
“Not as great as other years, not as much hardware on sale.” – Ico
“First rAge I’ve ever been to – very cool, a lot of different things to see.” – Frikkie
“Very cool, definitely gonna jol the games next time” – Willie
“This is my first time – its very cool, nice to get to play all the unreleased games and witness all the new technology.” – Cyrus
“My second time here, and having a fantastic time!” – Rodwell
“Very cool, I’m enjoying it, there’s a lot of shops, but it’s exactly what I expected – nothing surprising.” – Jacob
What’s the best thing you’ve seen at the show, or the game you’re most excited to see/play?

Did you come to rAge last year? And if so, how is this year’s show in comparison to rAge 2011?
“It’s a good show, just lacking hardware for the enthusiasts, you know.” – Tim
“There are some really random stands, like the Virgin Active and Cheese Store stands – doesn’t really fit in.” – Ico
“I think last year was a bit better, because we came a bit earlier last time and got to play a bit more games.” – Rodwell
“This is my third, it actually the same. It’s a very good show, we just need more flying unicorns and things like that.” – Jacob

Any reason you’re not playing in the LAN?
“These days with uncapped and online communities, I don’t really see a reason to come”. – Tim
“I couldn’t get tickets!” – Ico
