rAge 2012 – what did you think?

10 October 2012

rAge 2012, South Africa’s largest gaming expo and LAN event, wrapped up at the end of Sunday, and as the hordes shambled their way out of the Coca-Cola Dome, MyGaming was there to catch up with a few of the general attendees to see what their thoughts on the show were.

After finding out what gamers thought of the NAG rAge LAN, what did everyone else think of the show itself?

Overall I was disappointed with rAge 2012. The place was swamped with people and getting close to the displays, shops and tills was manic. I cannot see how it can be held at the dome in 2013, as it was already way too congested for any kind of pleasure.

I am disappointed with the organisation at the entrance. One point of entry only? Surely that was a bad idea?

I ended up leaving early without really getting around.

There also was not as much hardware on display or for sale as previously.

I only got a good look at Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3. Would consider getting them.
