There’s triple- and double-A games that always catch the attention of the mainstream media. Then there are those that slip under the radar. And then there’s those that raise eyebrows due to the complete bizarreness of their existence.
We think some of these games deserve recognition, so we’ve have rounded up some of the weirdest and strangest games that you probably didn’t know existed.
Handball Challenge 13
That’s right – the side-lined sport of handball has its own game coming out.
This isn’t the first of its kind though, as Handball Challenge has had a few instalments hit shelves over the years.
Handball Challenge 13 brings the handball series to current-gen consoles with “fast breaks, spectacular moves and pure emotions” just being some of the action on offer.
Sneak King
Product placement seems to pop up here and there in games these days, but an entire game being a product-placement, that’s different.
Sneak King, despite featuring a terribly punny title, was sold with value meals in Burger King outlets, and as you may have guessed, was a sneaky plug centred around Burger King’s famous burgers.
Developed by Blitz Games, Sneak King required players to take control of the Burger King mascot and sneak around various locations to deliver burgers.
Mister Mosquito
Mosquitos are irritating. Everybody hates mosquitos. So naturally, developers ZOOM thought “why not be one?”
Mister Mosquito throws you into the insect legs of an irritating mosquito, tasked with sucking the blood of innocent sleep-seekers.
Be careful though, as the humans can pick up on your devilish plans and attack.
The game received some relatively decent reviews, so if turning the tables on your own kind is something you’ve considered, Mister Mosquito is right up your ally.
Petz Dogz: Fashion
The Petz Dogz series has found its place on Nintendo’s handhelds, with somewhat of a cult following always picking up the latest title.
One that stands out is Petz Dogz: Fashion. While being outrageously unnecessary, the fashion spin-off lets users to dress up their virtual victims pets in everything from booties to sunglasses.
The only good thing about the game is that it may save some dogs from actually being dressed up.
Seaman
Seaman is probably the strangest game you’ll ever encounter.
Appearing on the Dreamcast, the game requires you to raise a human-faced fish called Seaman.
You use the Dreamcast’s microphone to talk and interact with the fishy friend, although he’s not the friendliest of pets.
I’d rather just play Crazy Taxi.
