This week, EA’s colossal football contender once again makes its seasonal return, while an offensive, but familiar face is revived in all its old-school FPS glory.
FIFA 14
FIFA 14 drops this week for PC and current-gen consoles, and this year’s iteration will undoubtedly revitalise the footie genre.
The animations, visuals and overall crowd atmosphere has been reworked to create the most authentic version to date.
Career mode has been revamped, including a Global Scouting Network through most countries, which allows hiring a scout to search for talent all season from various clubs globally.
Even more licenses and a new Ultimate Team feature allowing gamers to download classic players from different eras, such as Pele and Ljungberg, will definitely kick some new life into this footie veteran.
Shadow Warrior
The over-the-top FPS series is back, as the Shadow Warrior reboot returns this week.
The game allows players to once again take control of Lo Wang as he slices, dices and shoots is way through the mob, demons and whatever else comes his way.
While there’s the usual arsenal of machine guns, pistols and rocket-launchers, Wang can also use his katana in close-quarters, showing the insane dismemberment that the game has to offer.
Shadow Warrior is available through digital distribution over Steam and GOG.com.
