Digital game specials you can’t ignore

This week sees the big guns in the digital distribution realm delivering some great specials on new games, classic titles, and under-appreciated gems.

Steam Specials

Steam has the action-adventure platformer Terraria on special for only $2.49, Dust: An Elysian Tail for $5.10, and the jet-powered Ace Combat Assault Horizon – Enhanced Edition going for $7.49.

The interesting shadow-manipulating platformer Contrast is also on special for $14.99.

BT Games

From BT Games’ digital store, they are offering the Game of the Year Edition of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for R249, the season pass for Saints Row IV for R109, and Doom 3 for R139.

Greenman Gaming

Greenman Gaming has the Batman Super Pack on offer this week, which includes Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition, Arkham City GOTY edition, the upcoming Arkham Origins and the playable Deathstroke DLC, all for $62.49.

GOG.com

GOG is featuring FEZ on special for $4.99, the hilarious yet strategic Surgeon Simulator 2013 for $4.99, and the indie adventure Lilly Looking Through for $8.99.

Humble Bundle

Humble Bundle has launched the Humble Bundle 7 with Android, which features a bunch of games for the usual pay-what-you-want DRM-free deal.

Ticket to Ride, Greed Corp, Incredipede and Anodyne, and if you pay more than the average (currently $6.24 at the time of writing), you’ll get Worms Reloaded and The Bard’s Tale, along with the digital soundtracks.

As always, more mystery games will be unlocked later in the special run, if you pay more than the average.

GamersGate

GamersGate has a horde of specials on offer, including Metro Last Light (R199), The Borderlands 2 Four Pack for R896 (includes four copies of Borderlands 2 – send the extra copies to your friends), and the potential Game of the Year, My Boyfriend (R35).

Bundle Stars

Bundle Stars is promoting the Quickfire Indie bundle, which features 9 games for R35.
