Hobbits and Ducks – games you can play this week

7 April 2014

With the release of Goat Simulator and The Elder Scrolls Online last week you probably have no time for any other games, let alone new releases. But, we will give them to you anyway, just in case you feel like a fresh gaming adventure for the week ahead.

Lego: The Hobbit

Lego: The Hobbit releases on Friday, 11 April, for PC, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS – they are definitely looking at cashing in with this title.

Players will quest throughout Middle-earth, joining Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and Thorin Oakenshield and company in their exciting adventures toward the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor. DLC based on the third movie in the Hobbit trilogy will also be made available for the game.

Ducktales Remastered

The PS3 version of Ducktales hits the shelves on Friday, 11 April. It will feature similar gameplay to the original, with a few gameplay tweaks, such as a map screen and an easier pogo jump, which can be toggled on and off. DuckTales: Remastered will also feature a new tutorial level in Scrooge’s money vault.

Many of the original game’s levels are featured, along with new areas added for the remake and new boss patterns.
