Lasers and lashes – games you can play this week

rAge 2014 has come and gone, and those of you who were fortunate enough to visit the expo – and were willing to queue = got to play several games that had not yet been released.

Among the pre-released playable games were Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and The Evil With – both of which are hitting the South African shelves this week.

Here are the new games you can play this week.

The Evil Within

The Evil Within launches for the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on 17 October 2014.

The game, published by Bethesda Softworks, focuses on the story of detective Sebastian Castellanos who is ambushed and knocked unconscious while investigating a gruesome mass murder.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel arrives for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on 17 October 2014.

Put on your Sunday best, face lasers, and prepare for jovial fear pooping.
