It’s a new week, and Call of Duty fans have woken up with a smile on their faces this morning.
The much-hyped Advanced Warfare ships from today, and brings with it some futuristic battles and super-powered soldiers.
Besides the new CoD, there is not much else on offer, unfortunately.
Here are the new games you can play this week.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare arrives on the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in SA on 3 and 4 November 2014.
The game takes the CoD franchise into the not-too-distance future, where exoskeletons, hover bikes, and face-exploding weapons are at your disposal to take over the world. Or save it – on of the two.
Activision and Sledgehammer Games have promised the “best Call of Duty game ever”, putting out a title they hope will re-energise the shooter franchise. To help them in their quest they have pitched the game as a cinematic/gaming hybrid experience, bringing in the likes of Kevin Spacey to deliver an Oscar-winning performance.
According to recent reports, zombies are making a comeback in Advanced Warfare, but you will have to purchase the game’s Season Pass. For those interested in the game, check out our pre-order price roundup
