Temples and Titans – games you can play this week

8 December 2014

There is not much going in terms of game releases this week, but that does not mean your wallets are safe just yet.

For Tomb Raider fans there is The Temple of Osiris, while Destiny players are getting The Dark Below expansion.

Here are the new games you can play this week.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris releases for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on 9 December 2014.

The game features a single-player and 4-player co-op mode (both online and offline), which will see gamers trying to keep the beautiful and tough-as-nails Tomb Raider alive while exploring a dangerous Egyptian temple.

“As Lara and her companions fight their way across the sands and through ancient tombs, they will face gods and monsters of myth and legend. With the fate of the world at stake, Lara must uncover the fragments of Osiris to stop Set from enslaving all mankind,” said Crystal Dynamics about the sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

Destiny: The Dark Below

The first bit of DLC for Destiny releases on 9 December 2014.

The expansion includes new weapons, armour, Strikes, Story missions, Crucible maps, and the ability to take your level up to 32. If you have the game and see a level 32 Titan walking around the Tower, you know you are buying the season pass.
