One of the most hotly anticipated titles of the year, for those in the know, has to be Killing Floor 2. It’s easily the goriest, and so the best, zombie game of the moment – H1Z1 who?
Tripwire Interactive isn’t holding back for its second iteration in their zombie wave survival wunderkind. It’s more brutal, much prettier, technically clever and all about dispatching zombies in as tasty a manner possible. It’s what you might call gratuitous violence; it’s glorious. And having recently seen a complete playthrough of one of its levels, which was pretty exciting to see, Tripwire Interactive has announced Killing Floor 2’s release date.
Killing Floor 2, if it’s anything like its predecessor, should have a very dedicated community and an even more dedicated developer, a rare occurrence these days. It’s also as strategic as it is gruesome, which is great and gives it a lot more replayability.
Want to take a crack at it? Of course you do. Well it hits Steam Early Access on April 21st and will sell for $30 (approximately R300 odd). We can’t wait.
