This week, the gaming landscape is a little barren of any triple-A titles, hence our Gaming Drought Guide, but we are set to get a few new interesting games, including a returning racing veteran, some murderous worms and a lot more.
F1 2015 – June 10
(PS4, Xbox One)
Codemasters are strangers to the racing game genre, we’d call them stalwarts of the genre in fact, and the acclaimed studio is giving us yet another Formula One racing game.
F1 2015 should tickle the engines of racing fanatics for another season of high-speeds and higher-stakes.
The game will use a brand new engine, built almost entirely from scratch to produce some pretty unreal results.
The new engine is said to dramatically improve both screen quality and the ability of the A.I., which has been attacked by critics in the past for being unrealistic at the best of times.
Worms World Party: Remastered – July 8
(PC)
Worms World Party: Remastered contains the same gameplay, game modes (single-player and up to six-player multiplayer), and humour from the original, but adds better visuals with an updates 1080p resolution and 60fps.
It’s the same crazy, unique, wacky, outrageous, addictive and deadly (to Worms anyway) combat game for a new generation of wormy chaos, in glorious HD for extra measure.
