The games of 2015 according to the reviews

Games of 2015 according to review scores - The Witcher 3

As 2015 approaches its end, it seems only appropriate to take a look at the games that had the biggest impact, or at the very least are the most well received thus far.

How did the best games of each platform match up against one another, and how do the best games 2015 has to offer compare to last year?

Before we get started, it’s probably worth mentioning in spite of titles like Fallout 4, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and, of course, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, this list has some wiggle room to change with the likes of Star Wars Battlefront and Just Cause 3 just round the corner.

Moreover, we did a similar feature earlier on in the year, but it’s safe to say that it needed a good bit of updating.

As a show of the quality of titles that released in 2015, indubitably popular, yearly refreshes like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty did not make the cut.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, in fact, missed the mark by 1% sitting at 85% for PS4 (a score we gave it ourselves in our own review).

*To appear on the following lists, these games had to have been released in 2015 and appeared on Metacritic as well as GameRankings with more than 15 reviews. Too few reviews means a weaker average score, allowing some games to skirt on by with what is essentially inaccurate average scores.
