A report posted by analyst firm Newzoo breaks down the different video games industry revenue streams.
Looking at four main segments (PCs, Consoles, Smartphones, Tablets & handhelds), the report answers how much money people spend on games and how these sectors compare to one another.
One of the more interesting statistics is that Tablet & handheld revenue has been falling year by year due to the increasing physical-sizes of smartphones.
VR is also not represented as yet, and falls under the other relevant parent categories.
