Exclusives! It’s what console gaming is all about. This year, both the Xbox and PS3 are prepping to launch heaps of exclusives.

PlayStation 3 exclusives in 2011

Coming in at twenty titles (announced so far, anyway), Sony’s lineup is a little shorter than Microsoft’s, but does arguably feature more potential blockbusters:

Note that while No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise was released on Xbox 360 in Japan last year already, the English version is exclusive to PS3 in America and Europe.

At a formidable twenty-eight exclusives, Microsoft is obviously looking to push Kinect pretty hard, but for core gamers, there’s only really Gears of War 3, Forza Motorsport 4, and possibly XCOM.
