Razer has revealed its new Lancehead wireless gaming mouse with tournament-grade performance.

The Lancehead is “the world’s most advanced gaming mouse” and boasts a 5G laser sensor with Razer Adaptive Frequency Technology.

The Lanchead’s 5G sensor boasts accurate tracking at 16,000 DPI and uses hybrid on-board and cloud memory to store user configuration profiles.

Razer said the Lancehead connects to the strongest frequencies in the 2.4GHz band and can automatically change frequencies when necessary, offering lag-free performance while minimising interference from other wireless devices.

The device features Chroma RGB lighting and mechanical mouse switches, which can take up to 50 million clicks.

The Lancehead is set to launch at $139 in June 2017.

A wired Lancehead Tournament Edition model is currently available for $79.
