A new Japanese patent could point to the existence of an unannounced PlayStation 4 “Elite” controller.
Images posted on NeoGaf of the patent actually point to two new controller designs, one a pure upgrade to the DualShock 4, and the other boasting a modular design.
The controllers appear to feature grips on the buttons for easy pressing, which could indicate that this will act as a direct competitor to Xbox One’s Elite controller which uses a similar feature.
