Great so now that we have the whole range of RX 400 series lets confirm quickly the RRP in Dollar prices of each card then converted to Rand then compared with the actual cost of the card in Rand and then you can decided for yourself if price fixing is happening or not:

The comparison is done using the cheapest cards in SA so PowerColor from Wootware:
    RX460 – $109 – R1448 – R1999 : Difference – R551
    RX470 – $179 – R2378 – R3999 : Difference – R1621
    RX480 – $229 – R3042 – R5199 : Difference – R2157

Now if these prices weren’t being fixed then shouldn’t they go up evenly. I mean lets take the $109 RX460 and divide that by R551 which gives us R5.05 profit on the RRP per $1 now if we work from there profit margin on the RX460 and simply apply it evenly across all the cards as the price goes up we get the following:

    RX460 – $109 – R1448 – used as Baseline R1999 : Difference – R551 : Same
    RX470 – $179 – R2378 – should cost R3283 : Difference – R905 : Overpriced (R716)
    RX480 – $229 – R3042 – should cost R4200 : Difference – R1158 : Overpriced (R999)

Please do let me know if I’m missing something here or if my math has failed me somewhere. But I do believe this proves that these prices are BS.
