New 8GB AMD R9 290X gets SA pricing

Near the beginning of November 2014 AMD confirmed it would release an 8GB DDR5 version of its R9 290X. Besides the VRAM improvement, AMD said the card would also be overclocked, and was working with brands like Sapphire, PowerColor, and MSI to bring the card to the masses.

Now the 8GB GPU powerhouse has popped up on local PC builders’ websites, with pricing and specifications AMD enthusiast will surely drool over.
