I’ve long since figured out how GPU’s are prised in SA. Take whatever it costs in the States and multiply by 17. Somewhere in the pipeline someone is having a laugh!
Case in point:
GTX 970: $330 * 17 = R5 600
TITAN X: $1000 * 17 = R17 000
The new 980Tis $650 will be about R11 000. Custom boards will be about 12K.
