The first images of the Asus ROG Rampage V Edition 10 gaming motherboard have been leaked by an OC3D.net forum member.
The motherboard features a new and improved aesthetic with an emphasis on futuristic lighting. It will offer a variety of visual options due to its unique black colour scheme and customisable RGB lighting.
This is performed by an RGB header, which will allow the user to customise their board’s lighting to suit the colour scheme of their other gaming hardware.
The Rampage V Edition 10 features a number of upgrades compared to its previous iteration, including 4 Safeguard PCIe x16 slots and a U.2 connection for NVMe SSDs.
The motherboard includes dual Intel Gigabit Ethernet connections and U.2 NVMe storage support, along with wireless and Bluetooth compatibility. The device will also include a USB Type-C port in addition to the number of USB 3.0 slots offered by Asus’ X99 gaming boards.
The ROG Rampage V Edition 10 will replace the existing Rampage V Extreme motherboard as Asus’ flagship X99 gaming board.
There is currently no confirmed pricing or release date for the Asus ROG Rampage V Edition 10 gaming motherboard.
