Nvidia has officially revealed its most powerful consumer graphics card ever, the new Pascal-based Titan X.
The card features a massive 12GB of GDDR5X memory and 3,584 stream processors at 1.53GHz, delivering a quoted 11 TFLOPS of peak compute performance.
The new version of the Titan X is based on Nvidia’s cutting-edge Pascal architecture, offering better power efficiency and higher performance ceilings than previous generations due to its 16nm FinFet manufacturing process.
The card is expected to launch on 2 August 2016 in the US and Europe, with Asian markets set to follow at a later date.
The Titan X will be available directly from Nvidia’s website for a price of $1,200.
There is no official South African pricing or release date yet.

Wow that’s quite a price. Can’t help but think and shudder at what the price will be in SA. I mean if the cheapest available $220 RX480 goes for R5300. Well to make it simple lets make it $200 and R5000. So then $200*6 = $1200 therefore R5000*6 = R30000. Will probably be more. Can’t see it being less.
Wow now we paying R30000 for graphics cards, wasn’t that long ago, a few years back you could buy a decent second hand car for R30000.
