The Economist has released a chart predicting which VR headset will dominate the market by the end of 2016.
Unsurprisingly, Samsung Gear VR tops the list with 30% followed closely Google Cardboard and newcomer PS VR.
The analysts reveal PS VR may be in a sweet spot however, with a product more powerful than the mass-market devices and more affordable than the top-tier ones.
It can also rely on a captive global customer base of over 40 million PlayStation 4 users, forecast to surpass 50 million by Christmas.
Regardless of who wins, it’s clear that VR will be big money.
As early as 2020, spending is forecast to reach $7.9 billion on VR headsets and $3.3 billion on VR entertainment.

Personally I think they are underestimating consoles. At the price quoted thus far they will sell like hotcakes.
