While our smartphone may have replaced many of the other everyday gadgets in our lives, it’s flashlight function can’t really match up to the real thing.
The Fenix RC40 flashlight is so powerful, it can even charge your phone, reports PCWorld.
The RC40 which sports a giant custom lithium-ion cell will put out a scorching 6,000 lumens from its six-LED cluster. That’s enough output to reach almost a kilometre away.
“If you need USB power, there’s a single USB Type A port on the end of the flashlight, so you can use the power bank to charge your phone or other device.”
The torch is also fully-submersible, offers a shatter-proof, reflection-free glass and can handle a large drop.
There is no word yet on South African pricing or release date.
