Game-spoiling fun-haters got what was coming to them over the last week when EA rolled out “hundreds” of bans for cheating, and scrubbed the stats of people found exploiting or boosting in Battlefield 3.

“This week we’ve banned hundreds of offending accounts and have stats-wiped accounts for exploiting (such as boosting),” reads a Tweet over on the Battlefield Twitter stream.

“We are working on banning as many people as we can as quickly as we can. We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating,” reads an update.
Some of the more “popular” cheats included an invincibility glitch, a ranking glitch that let players go up tens of thousands of points in a single game using the

Engineer class, and sniping on Kharg Island because srsly, it just ruins the game for everybody else, kthanxbai.

Now if they’d only nuke the accounts of everybody under 25, that would be really great.
