Upset Pokemon GO players are requesting refunds for their in-app purchases, and they are getting them.

Many Pokemon GO players around the world are upset about the removal of footprint tracking, and are requesting refunds for all of their in-app microtransactions, reports Kotaku.

This follows the recent update for Pokemon GO which has sparked frustration amongst the player base.

Android and iOS players have reportedly been successful in claiming back all the money they spent on in-app items using the removal of footprint tracking as a reason for the refund.

Third-party tracking apps using Niantic’s API have also been shut down, meaning that it is now far more difficult for players to find and capture specific Pokemon.

Pokemon GO developer Niantic has not yet commented on the latest update’s reception or the large number of refund requests.
