Pokemon GO Plus 2

Niantic and The Pokémon Company launched the Pokémon Go Plus smartphone accessory around the world today.

Despite Pokémon Go not being officially available in South Africa, local retailers have started selling the Pokémon Go Plus.

Pokémon Go Plus is a companion device that connects to your phone over Bluetooth.

It lets you keep your phone in your pocket while still collecting resources and capturing even the most elusive Pokémon.

As players approach a Pokéstop, their Pokemon Go Plus will alert them by vibrating and lighting up. Trainers can then collect items from the stop by clicking their wristband.

The following online retailers in South Africa list the Pokémon Go Plus:

  • Raru: R609
  • Takealot: R699
  • Loot: R619 (currently out of stock)
