Niantic has revealed some of the biggest new features coming to Pokemon GO in its latest update, 0.39.0 for Android and 1.9.0 for iOS.
The update is currently being rolled out and brings big changes to the functionality of the Pokemon GO Plus accessory and adds in more information on Pokemon locations.
Below are the core release notes as outlined by the Pokemon GO development team:
- Capture location: The location where a Pokémon was caught will now be displayed on their information screen.
- Pokémon GO Plus and Incense: Trainers can attempt to capture Pokémon they encounter from using Incense with the Pokémon GO Plus accessory.
- Minor bug fixes
Niantic has stated that “exciting features and changes” will soon be coming to Pokemon GO.
