Are No Man’s Sky’s planets varied enough?

No Man's Sky

No Man’s Sky has officially released for both PC and PS4, with early reviews being mixed.

While some may feel let down by the crafting/survival nature of the game, what continues to impress is just how diverse the different planets and its inhabitants are.

But just how different are these planets from one another?

Eurogamer decided to find out for themselves, and published a video showing off 50 different planets in just seven minutes.

Included in the video are icy worlds, poisonous worlds, burning worlds, and some very odd-looking creatures.

All are starting planets, however – examples of useful worlds which the game will set you down upon once you first switch it on.

There may be far less hospitable areas out there waiting to be discovered, then, but as a selection of the variety on offer just at the game’s very beginning – it’s already pretty impressive.
