System Requirements
It is important to note that the below specifications are the recommended system requirements for Battlefield 1 and not the minimum requirements, which are much lower.
The recommended operating system is Windows 10 due to the game’s optional utilisation of the Windows 10-exclusive DirectX 12.
| Battlefield 1 Recommended Requirements | |
|---|---|
| Processor | Intel Core i5-6600 3.3GHz |
| Graphics Card | GeForce GTX 970 4GB |
| Memory | 8GB |
| Operating System | Windows 10 |
Battlefield 1 Build
This aims to provide 60 frames-per-second at 1080p in Battlefield 1, and surpasses all the recommended requirements for the game while considering budget constraints.
The Solid State Drive is not strictly necessary, but would provide a better gaming experience using this machine. The price of an operating system was not included in this build.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB is an ideal graphics for high-end 1080p gaming, offering cutting-edge power at a relatively low price. It is also a better purchase than the Radeon RX 480 in South Africa.
It is important to note that although the minimum requirements for Battlefield 1 are much lower than the recommended specifications, with this build aiming to run the game at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, with maximum settings and an average of 60 frames-per-second.
We used the 6GB version of the GeForce GTX 1060 in order to ensure the best performance value.
