You can now download and play Battlefield 2 for free

While not the newest game by any means, we still have a special place reserved for Battlefield 2 in our hearts.

That’s why we were surprised to learn that the game is now free-to-play, according to this post on the PC Gaming subreddit.

Consider this a public service announcement to get back into some fine multiplayer gaming, if only to compare it to the upcoming Battlefield 1.

    Soon BF2142 will be free as well via Battlelog.co. Will definitely host a server for my personal and all time favourite BF title 😀
