A group of developers at Obsidian have recreated the entirety of Mos Eisley from Star Wars in Unreal Engine 4 and have made the scene available as a free download.

Although not technically a game, the Mos Eisley scene allows fans to walk around one of the most iconic locations in the Star Wars universe.

Developer Jason Lewis started the project in order to further his knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 while fulfilling his wish to create a detailed CG model of the Millennium Falcon.

After he began adding various buildings and hangars to the scene, he enlisted the help of other Obsidian developers to assist him in faithfully recreating the entire Mos Eisley city in the engine.

The project is being worked on by 17 Obsidian developers and is almost completed.

For those interested in walking around the highly-detailed scene, you can download the recreation for free here.
