Battlefield 1’s monstrous system requirements released

DICE’s Battlefield games have long been associated with incredible visuals.

While the past few iterations have been well optimised, this means you also needed a relatively powerful machine to run the game fully maxed out.

Although the minimum specifications specify an unlocked Intel i5-6600K processor, the game should run on any modern quad-core processor with decent clock speeds.

  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
  • Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
  • DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
  • Hard-drive space: 50GB

  • DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

    i7 6700k, 32gb RAM, R9 390X running on Windows 10 using directX 12.0 during the Beta @1440p saw my frame rate hovering between 40-70fps at max settings.
