Skyrim Special Edition – PC vs PS4 vs Xbox One graphics comparison

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition has been available for over a week on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and gamers have noticed significant visual improvements compared to the original game.

There is usually a major difference between the PC and console versions of the game in terms of performance and graphics, so how does Skyrim Special Edition compare across these platforms?

Digital Foundry has conducted an extensive graphics comparison, taking a look at the biggest differences between the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC versions of Skyrim Special Edition.

The vanilla version of the game looks similar on both PC and console, with PC delivering decent performance and PS4 and Xbox One lock at 30 frames-per-second for the most part.
