Valve has introduced Glove microtransactions in the latest update to CounterStrike: Global Offensive.
The Glove Case features 17 community-designed weapon finishes, but unlike previous cases, the possible Special Items in the Glove Case are 24 all-new gloves.
At the time of writing, the average price for a Glove Case is just over R100, although this may drop or increase wildly depending on market demand.
The new update also introduces Steam lobbies to CS:GO as well as a number of additions to the Music Box library.
Valve recently faced community backlash after it began charging for the once free sprays in CS:GO, so it will be interesting to see how they take to the introduction of the new gloves.
this is what i think of it, soon you going to see guys running our looking like a my little pony and instead of using an AWP that has a paid for Skin that looks like a Giant purple dildo from saints row holding it with your paid for skin of gloves running around a paid for map of cheesey doritos and the enemy spills out mountain dew instead of blood thanks to another paid for DLC and you have a paid for spray which plays music thanks to more microtrasactions of gabe saying Gimme $20
