19 May 2017

Following the conclusion of Ubisoft’s financial year, the French video game company announced that a new Assassin’s Creed title, Far Cry 5, and a sequel to 2014’s racing game The Crew will release in the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

The Ubisoft social media accounts also teased images and logos for the various games, and a Ubisoft email newsletter showcased all three upcoming titles, along with the update that gamers should keep an eye on the E3 updates in June.

It’s suggested that all three games will be fully revealed at the E3 2017 gaming expo, with gameplay footage for the trio a possibility too, given that the games aren’t too far from release if they’re going to fall into the next year.

Regarding the next Assassin’s Creed game specifically, rumors are floating around that the next instalment will take place in ancient Egypt.
