For your convenience, we’ve chosen the best-looking new releases on Steam for your consideration.

We used the title’s gameplay, description and player reviews as a guide to determine what might be fun to play.

The best five new steam releases to stave off boredom are listed below.

Redout 2 — R499

Release date: 16 June

Redout 2 is a tribute to classic arcade racing games and the sequel to the critically acclaimed Redout, where racing through the wastelands of a semi-abandoned Earth is one of the galaxy’s most popular sports.

Reach impossible speeds in exhilarating futuristic races across an extensive single-player campaign and competitive multiplayer.

Deep control systems, robust hovership customization and a killer soundtrack make Redout 2 the premier anti-gravity racer.

Raft — R186.15

Release date: 20 June

Choosing to play alone or with a friend, this game will have you wake up on a small raft with nothing but a hook made of old plastic and no hope of rescue.

Use your hook to catch valuable debris floating by and craft survival equipment, weapons, and crop plots on your raft to stay alive.

Players will also be able to expand their raft from a simple wreckage to a buoyant mansion using the materials you find while exploring the surrounding reefs – but watch out for deadly ocean creatures!

This open-world survival game is sure to keep you and your friends entertained for hours.

Final Vendetta — R127.50

Release date: 17 June

Final Vendetta is a hard-hitting action-packed beat ‘em up co-op game in true classic arcade-style.

Featuring stunning pixel art and a thumping soundtrack, brawl with bad dudes and tough chicks as you fight through dangerous environments.

Players will take control of retired pro-wrestler Miller T. Williams, bare-knuckle fighter Duke Sancho, or Claire as they battle their way through the mean streets of London to rescue Claire’s sister from the notorious “Syndic8” gang.

Earn your way up in a county full of corruption and crime while discovering what the residents are hiding.
