Fall Guys boasts 20 million players after going free-to-play

28 June 2022

The transition of the popular game Fall Guys into a free-to-play title has been a great success, as within 48 hours it had acquired 20 million players.

This comes from the game’s official Twitter account, which noted the milestone and thanked fans who participated.

This milestone includes new players across all platforms, including the recently-launched Switch and Xbox versions of the game.

The significant number of players the now free-to-play title attracted did cause the game’s servers some issues, but these problems were attended to within the first few hours of the launch.

Fall Guys originally announced the move to free-to-play, as well as Xbox and Switch versions of the game, in May.

The new season of the free game comes with a Season Pass and will feature more crossover content – starting with a Halo crossover from 30 June this week.
