The top 10 revenue games last week for Steam — 18 July

SteamDB has updated its charts for the week and disclosed which games had the highest revenue.

This week sees several returning entries from the previous weeks and one surprising entry that we were not expecting to see again.

Below are the top ten games on Steam based on revenue.

10. CSGO: Prime Status Upgrade

While CSGO may be a free-to-play game, it does have some purchasable content.

The CSGO Prime Status Upgrade pack that has made it into the top 10, allowing players to match with others who’ve bought the pack and earn Prime-exclusive rewards.

CSGO has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.


9. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Package

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak may not be topping the charts anymore, but the new title is still popular.

This bundle option comes with both the base game and its massive expansion, making it an appealing choice for new players.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has a Mixed user review score, and Monster Hunter Rise has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.


8. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

The expansion-only version of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak holds the eighth spot on this list.

Thanks to its extensive roster of fan favourite monsters, Sunbreak has proven to be a great success, with over 3 million units sold since its launch.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has a Mixed user review score on Steam.


7. Valve Index Kit

While the Valve Index Kit may have been absent last week, it has returned to the top ten.

This product is a popular choice for those looking to get into VR.


6. F1 22

F1 22 retains its presence in the top ten for another week but has dropped two places.

The racing game is a a favourite among many gamers, so it’s not surprising to see it remain on the list for another week.

F1 22 has a Mixed user review on Steam.


5. Ready or Not

Ready or Not was released last year and holds the fifth spot on this list – just like last week.

The tactical first-person shooter game may yet remain on this list come next week.

Ready or Not has a Very Positive user review score.


4. Elden Ring

As we noted in the introduction, there was a surprise title this week – Elden Ring is back on this list.

The FromSoftware game dominated the charts for over two months on Steam before eventually falling off a few weeks ago.

However, while we assumed it would only reappear when its potential DLC was announced, we were wrong.

It will be exciting to see if it is on the list next week.

Elden Ring has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.


3. Stray

The third title on the list is Stray – a game set to release tomorrow.

This release date is undoubtedly responsible for the surge of pre-orders that has put it as the number three game for the week.


2. Raft

Raft holds onto its second place spot for another week.

This survival game is among the most popular of its genre on Steam, so seeing it here is not a shock.

Raft has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.


1. Steam Deck

The Steam Deck is yet again the number one title for the week.

The portable PC from Valve is still very popular.

The Steam Deck is currently unavailable in South Africa.
