The Seamless Co-op mod has become a must-have feature for those looking to play through Elden Ring with friends and is now compatible with the DLC.
Shadow of the Erdtree dropped on 21 June and, as is always the case with new content, broke many popular mods for Elden Ring.
The Seamless Co-op mod is arguably one of the most popular Elden Ring mods and was no exception to this.
However, in a recent update from the mod creator, Luke Yui, has announced that while not perfect, the mod can now be used to play through Elden Ring and the DLC while in co-op.
The DLC is also easy to use, with a separate launcher and a simple password system that allows players to connect to each other.
Along with this, a moderator on the mod’s Discord also explained how the mod interacts with the new features introduced by the DLC.
“The DLC has added many new mechanics, interesting edge cases and underlying code changes—some of which would seem mundane to the player—but have required new solutions for them to work correctly,” he explained.
“Fortunately, the Scadutree Fragments and Revered Spirit Ashes are very much localized and do not require any special synchronization.”
You can download the Seamless Co-op mod from Nexus Mods or from projects GitHub page.
