Humble Indie Bundle #3 closes, banks over $2 million

The Humble Indie Bundle #3 promo is officially over, with 372 367 bundles sold and $2 167 859.55 in the bank. That’s around $400 000 more than the Humble Indie Bundle #2, and $1 million more than the first one. Give yourselves a big hug, you’re obviously all on the road to becoming much better people.

By the time the deal closed, it included Physics Deluxe, Cogs, VVVVVV, And Yet It Moves, and Hammerfight, with Steel Storm, Atom Zombie Smasher and a limited trial of Minecraft as bonus extras, as well as Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos and Revenge Of The Titans which were added on August 4 for anyone paying above the average donation of $5.82.

Windows PC gamers have accounted for the overwhelming majority of buyers, although also the cheapest, coming in at an average purchase price of $4.89. Mac and Linux gamers drop in at $7.73 and $12.04 respectively, bringing the overall average purchase price up to $5.82.
