Steam users are now able to get their hands on RAGE the second it goes live by purchasing and pre-loading the game on their systems.
Steam are also joining retailers in sweetening the pre-order deal by upgrading early purchasers to the Anarchy Edition.
The Anarchy Edition gives you four exclusive in-game items (some less awesome than others, admittedly) for use as you blast your way through the post-apocalyptic landscape:
The Double-Barrel Shotgun, Fists of RAGE, Rat Rod Buggy and Crimson Elite Armor.
With a relatively steep price of $59.99 (about R480), compared to local online and retail pre-orders priced around R350 for the same deal, it’s not exactly the cheapest way to get sucked into the behemoth title.
I guess that’s the price you pay for having the game loaded on your system early and not having to drag your butt off to the store, eh?
RAGE is launching on the 7th of October (that’s this friday, if you haven’t been paying attention) and is available for pre-order online via Steam.
