Polarfluke this week announced its October StarCraft II tournament, which will take place on 15 and 16 of October.
Local distributor Megarom has once again put up a prize pool of R8,000 cash.
The event sees SA’s finest StarCraft II players go head-to-head alongside international players for the hefty prize pool.
The first round will kick off on Saturday 15 October, and will consist of swiss rounds.
More information on this format will be made available soon.
Players who make it through the first round will take part in round 2 the following day, which will be a single elimination round.
Games will be streamed live here and local commentators shadowthief and SiEGEstarcraft will be talking onlookers through the action.

• Saturday 15th October – Swiss Round play starts at 14:00 SAST.
• Sunday 16th October – Single Elimination play starts at 14:00 SAST.
• The tournament will run via the European Battle.net server.
