Dawn of War II multi player Beta up

29 January 2009

While Relic are presumably putting the finishing touches on Dawn of War II, set to launch on February 20, the multiplayer Beta of the game is now available for free download via Valve’s Steam network.

Relic announced last week that the game had gone gold. The Beta testing officially began on January 21, but was only available to those who purchased the Soulstorm expansion pack to the original Dawn of War.

Just yesterday Relic made the download available to the general public via Valve’s online distribution network – Steam.

The download weighs in at a hefty 2256Mb download, not ideal for those sitting on a 3Gb ADSL account then.

The Beta allows players to play as the Space marines, Orks, Eldar or Tyranids on five uniqe multiplayer maps.
