Trine demo goes live

26 June 2009

Frozenbyte’s co-operative platformer is looking like one of most exciting games scheduled for release in 2009.

The game’s vibrant and immersive visuals as well as unique an innovative gameplay make Trine a game to watch for those who enjoy indie platformers or just feel like a break from the endless series of cut and paste AAA FPS or RPG games that dominate the sales charts.

Trine is looking to appeal to the same gamers that loved the likes of Braid and Little Big Planet.

The physics driven platformer will allow players to switch between three different character classes, a Thief, Wizard and Warrior as they play their way through the game’s beautifully rendered fantasy setting.

The game will initially launch on PC on July 3. A PS3 version will be released shortly afterwards and an Xbox Live version will arrive last.

The 460MB PC demo is now available at a number of sources, including Filefront.
