In celebration of the iconic Elder Scrolls series’ 15th birthday, Bethesda has released Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall in the form of a free download.
The original was released in 1996, making it 13 years old and it is apparently as buggy now as it was when it was released. Daggerfall offers the same open-world gameplay style as seen in the more recent Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Despite its now incredibly dated and eye scorching hideous graphics, we can’t help but want to go back and play it, even if only for the nostalgia value.
The game now requires a DOS emulator, such as DOSBox, and can be found in the form of a 148MB download.
The download is available locally over at Telkom’s Dogaming portal.
