Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft players can now switch from Alliance to Horde and vice versa for a fee.
Players will have to pay $30 USD (R240) for the privilege of abandoning their faction. Players will now find the option to change faction in the Account Management page.
When switching factions, players will be given a choice of races that are available to their class and faction. Players still cannot switch races without changing their faction. Blizzard has announced however that it will be releasing a ‘Race Change’ service in the near future.
